MUSIC FROM ALMOST TOMORROW

This is a great time to be a musician because there is a type of music emerging that is being written by the musical equalivants of Carl Sagan. They are writing programs and making wild sounds with computer chips! Writing pieces that can't be classified as pop or rap (even though it has drums, electric guitars and words in it) it isn't classical music (even though you'll hear the sounds from cellos and violins), it isn't jazz (yet you'll hear the vibes), nor is it folk music (but you'll hear samples of the types of instruments found in South America hundreds of years ago.) So, what is his music? Lets define it together, we'll make our own piece of music with a hands-on demonstration of playing samples of music from all over the world with the computer and electronic xylophone.
